Assisted Living
Conference at
the Capitol!
May 10, 2024
Time was running out! RPAMN joined a crucial conference on critical assisted living initiatives on May 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Minnesota Senate Building. It was the final discussion on pressing matters like license relocation, food code issues, and training portability.
It was the last chance to make our voices heard by the Minnesota legislators. Presence was crucial in shaping their decisions. RPAMN extended an invitation to all assisted living providers. The more providers who showed up, the stronger our collective voice became.
This opportunity to advocate for the future of our businesses was vital. Each presence could have made the difference. We appreciated everyone who attended!
Assisted Living Provider's Rally!
May 8, 2024
The future of license portability was at risk, and immediate action at the Minnesota State Capitol was needed. RPAMN hosted a critical House vote on license portability that could have made or broken our ability to transfer licenses across properties. Presence was not just requested; it was absolutely essential for ensuring our voices were heard loud and clear.
Without support, assisted living providers faced unprecedented challenges in maintaining the quality of care our residents deserve. We could not afford to let this opportunity slip away. Every provider counted. Every voice mattered. Providers showed up, advocated, and ensured the House understood the real impact of their decision on all of us. We had a whopping 55 providers show up. Together, we fought to safeguard license portability for the betterment of our community.
